Eileen M. Rose
Eileen M. Rose (“Rosie”) has been leading mandala classes for over 20 years and taught art to children for over 30 years. A visionary artist and award-winning photographer, she is a certified facilitator of Judith Cornell’s mandala process. Many of her mandalas are featured in Cornell’s The Mandala Healing Kit. She has also studied with other traditional and contemporary artists and experts, including visionary artists Alex and Allyson Grey, Pieter Weltevrede, Mavis Gewant, and monks from the Gyuto-Tantric University, and has been a member of Jean Houston’s Mystery School for several years.
Eileen holds an M.A. in Art Education from Brooklyn College and co-authored Create Your Own Sand Mandala: For Meditation, Healing and Prayer with her daughter, Abby Rose Dalto.
Eileen often co-facilitates with her husband Dr. Michael F. Garger. Their mandala classes for spiritual and emotional healing, awakening, and self-realization are appropriate for all, regardless of age, artistic experience or religious affiliation. They teach to diverse groups of adults and children, in a variety of venues including new age centers, yoga centers, art studios, senior centers, private homes, and more. They also lead the creation of group sand mandalas (both indoor and outdoor) with a variety of intentions.

Eileen and Michael are both are committed to their own awakening, to living their truth and to taking this light of truth out to others with great integrity and joy, to support and help others awaken for the greater good of all.
Eileen is also a percussionist and a member of the African drumming ensembles Sewa Folee and the DrUUmatics. She has studied with expert drummers including John Ward, Mamady Keita, Famoudou Konaté, and Babatunde Olatunji.
